At the Crossroads of Comfort and Support
Perfectly suited to tables, counters, and elevated work surfaces, the Aeron high stool allows our benchmark ergonomic model to reach new heights. Since its launch, Herman Miller's developed and deepened knowledge has allowed for tailored support to employees and their postures throughout the workday. Aeron provides a cleverer weight distribution through the 8Z Pellicle technology, an adjustable PostureFit SL system for optimal spinal support, and balanced recline combined with freedom of movement thanks to the Harmonic 2 tilt mechanism.

Both chairs are ergonomic and offer all the necessary adjustments for a healthy sitting posture. They are both extremely comfortable, but their comfort differs.
We strongly recommend trying them in person. We cannot tell you that one chair is better than the other — both are among the most comfortable and ergonomic chairs on the market. However, if you have the opportunity to try them, you will likely find the chair that best suits your body shape.
That said, the Aeron chair stands out because it is available in three different sizes. It is the only chair on the market to offer this option (A = small / B = medium / C = large).
The Aeron chair in size B, with all options, is comparable to the Mirra 2 chair with all options in terms of comfort and ergonomics.
The lumbar support on the Mirra 2 is different (it moves up and down).
Overall, both chairs are excellent ergonomic chairs. The difference lies mainly in the feeling they provide when seated.
